We will be donating all proceeds to The Empowerment Plan project.  In short, they are a “nonprofit organization based in Detroit, MI…they hire single parents from local shelters and provide them with training and full-time employment as seamstresses so that they can earn a stable income, find secure housing, and regain their independence. The individuals they hire manufacture a coat designed to meet the needs of those in the homeless community.”

Our goal is to be able to donate enough for at least one coat and/or supplies but hopefully more! Regardless of what we pull in from the discography downloads, we plan on donating enough for 1 coat to be manufactured on the labels behalf.

Today the self-titled debut album from Arrhythmia, is officially out on Cassette and also for download!

Arrhythmia is a spontaneous, improvisational performance by Norm Adams (cello), Tim Crofts (keys), D’Arcy Gray (percussion), and Hermitofthewoods (vocals) presented as part of the suddenlyLISTEN concert series. Their sound brings together hip hop, jazz, spoken word, experimental, chamber music and more.

The album was recorded live on May 12, 2015 at the Bus Stop Theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Engineering and mixing by John D.S. Adams of Stonehouse Sound.

Today the new sign one album, Bottom Dollar, is officially out on CD, Cassette, Cassette Single and also for download!

sign one is a producer and rapper from Orlando Fl. In the early 2000’s sign and his crew, “jerk circuit” helped pioneer the “nerd rap” style and sound of hiphop and went on to create beats for many emcees since.

The newest album, titled “bottom dollar” was written between the years of 2012-2015 and recorded in the true signone minimalist fashion, utilizing samples from vinyl to create the beats and vintage equipment to record. Known for his unique performance style and live playing on drum machines, sign continues to rock mic’s and bang on pads in the ozone.

About the album:
After 15 years of steady effort on collaborative projects with myriad labels and vocalists, Maki’s first full-length instrumental project is informed by a love of hardware, old records and electronic production. The result is an experiment in cut and paste, drum machines, analog synthesis, live instruments and some quality time with a vintage Fender Twin.

The record channels the ghosts of Kraut and Prog over blistering drum programming. Turning the clock off the sequencer, the result is organic, dark, aggressive and melancholic.
